This page allows you to update the parameter values.
Select the “Update Parameter Details” link at the bottom of the main page.
The “Update Parameter Values” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Log Details” group box:
Execution Ref # |
The number identifying the execution reference for which the parameter values must be updated. The system displays the document type before the execution reference number. |
Journey Log # |
The number identifying the journey log for which the parameter values must be updated. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which parameter values must be updated. |
Execution Station |
The station where the execution reference has been reported on the sheet. |
Enter the following fields in the “Update Option” group box:
Parameter Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter type. The system lists the options “Consumption”, “Range”, “Attribute” and “Technical”.The system leaves the field blank by default, when this page appears. |
Update Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the level at which the parameter value must be updated:
By default, the system sets this field to “Aircraft”. |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit that is performed on the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Task # |
The number identifying the task or standard procedure that is carried out for updating the parameter values (Alphanumeric, 5). |
Sub Task # |
The number identifying the sub task for the specified task (Alphanumeric, 25). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to retrieve parameters that are in “Active” status based on the work unit, task and sub task.
If the “Update Option” selected is “Task” and “Parameter Type” is left blank, the system performs the following:
Retrieves all the parameter types that are mapped to the task.
Retrieves all the parameter types defined for the selected task and subtask combination, if the parameter value is defined at subtask level against the task.
Note: If any non standard parameters are mapped to the task, the system retrieves the string “Non Standard” in the “Parameter Type” column in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Default Details” group box:
Def. As Of Date |
The default date on which the parameter value was updated (Date Format). The system displays the current server date by default. |
Def. As Of Time |
The default time at which the parameter value was updated (Time Format). The system displays the current server time by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the task or standard procedure. |
Task # |
The number identifying the task. |
Sub Task # |
The sub task associated to the task. |
Parameter |
The identifier of the parameter. |
Parameter Type |
The type of parameter, which could be “Attribute”, “Technical”, ”Range” or “Consumption”. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Current Value |
The present value of the parameter. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Updated Value |
The updated value of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 32). |
Updated Date |
The date on which the parameter value was updated (Date Format). |
Updated Time |
The time at which the parameter value was updated (Time Format). |
Note: Ensure that “Updated Value” is entered, if “Updated Date” and “Updated Time” are specified.
If “Updated Date” and “Updated Time” fields are left blank, ensure that “Def. As Of Date” and “Def. As Of Time” fields are entered.
Remarks |
Any additional information pertaining to the updation of parameter values (Alphanumeric, 2000). |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Last Updated Date |
The date on which the parameter was last updated. |
Last Updated Time |
The time at which the parameter was last updated. |
Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
Work Unit Description |
The textual description of the work unit. |
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Note: Ensure that at least one record exists in the multiline. Also ensure that the Execution Ref # and Task are not in “Cancelled “or “Closed” status.
Click the “Update Values” pushbutton to update the parameter values.
The system updates the details of the parameter value, and the date and time for each parameter, at the aircraft or the task level against the execution reference number, based on the update option.
If the update date and time is earlier than the actual start date and time of the execution reference, the system updates the “Actual Start Date & Time” with the update date and time. If the update date and time is later than the actual end date and time of the execution reference, the system updates the “Actual End Date & Time” with the update date and time.
The system sends an Alert e-mail to the concern user, if the updated value for the parameter of type “Range“ goes beyond the range limit as defined for the aircraft in the Aircraft component.
