Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

In this page, you can select the journey legs for which the flight sheet must be created. You can search for the details by providing the filter criteria. Based on the search criteria entered and the display option set, the system retrieves the journey leg details or journey log details. Select the “Create Journey Log” link under the “Flight Log” business component.

The “Select Journey Legs” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are to be entered.

The date format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The time is displayed as HH:MM or HHMM, in 24 hour format. For example 11:00pm is displayed as 23:00 and 10:45am is displayed as 10:45.

Journey Log #

The number Identifying the journey log (Alphanumeric 40). You can enter the journey log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Help facility available.

Journey Log Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the journey log category. The system displays all the quick codes of type “Journey Log Category” defined in the current business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Aircraft Model #

The code identifying the model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric 20).

From Station

The station from which the journey begins (Alphanumeric 256). You can enter the starting location in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

To Station

The station at which the journey ends (Alphanumeric 256). You can enter the ending location in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

From Date

The date on which the journey begins (Date Format).

To Date

The date on which the journey ends (Date Format).

Display Option

Use the drop-down list box and select “Journey Logs” if you wish to retrieve journey logs in the multiline.

Select “Journey Legs” if you wish to retrieve journey legs in the multiline. The system displays “Journey Logs” by default.

Note: Leave the fields blank to retrieve all the journey logs irrespective of the search criteria.

Note: The system will not retrieve journey logs, which are "Under Amendment”.

Note: If the display option is set as “Journey Logs”, the system retrieves all the journey logs in “Approved” status.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log.

Journey Log Category

The category to which the journey log belongs.

Leg #

The number identifying the journey leg.

The journey leg number will be displayed only if the display option is set as “Journey Legs”.

From Station

The starting station of the journey log or the leg.

From Date

The starting date of the journey log or the leg.

From Time

The starting time of the journey log or the leg.

To Station

The ending station of the journey log or the leg.

To Date

The ending date of the journey log or the leg.

To Time

The ending time of the journey log or the leg.

Flight Duration

The flight duration of the journey leg.

Take Offs

The number of journey legs or the number of take offs.
