Process Re-Forecast – A summary of the activity

The “Process Re-Forecast” activity allows you to analyze the impact of re-forecast of work units that are a part of a visit package. Re-forecasting of the work units may arise due to non-availability of parts, change in scheduled dates or due to an unscheduled arrival of an aircraft. Process re-forecasting may lead to the addition or reduction of work units from an already exisiting visit package and change in compliance dates.

What you can do in this activity

Cancel work units that are allocated to a visit package

Cancel work units that are allocated to a visit package

You can analyze the impact due to re-forecast of work units that are a part of a visit package, which is not in the “Draft”, “Closed” or “Canceled” status. You can cancel a work unit from a visit package, if there is an impact on the maintenance plan due to the re-forecast of the work unit.

• Use the “Select Visit Package”, to search and select the visit package.

• Use the “Process Re-Forecast” page to cancel it, based on the impact of the re-forecast on the visit plan.
