Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

In this page, you can view the sign-off and CoM details for a task or component work order. You can specify the sign-off status. Based on the sign-off status, the system displays the sign-off details for the tasks within the selected component work order. This page also enables you to view the existing CoM details for the selected component work order.

The “View Sign-off & CoM Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “CWO Details” group box:

Comp. Work Order #

The component work order selected in the “Select Component Work Order” page.

CWO Description

The textual description of the component work order.

Zoom facility available.

Maintenance Type

The maintenance type of the component work order, which could be “Overhaul”, “Repair” or “Inspection”.

CWO Category

The category to which the component work order belongs.

CWO Status

The status of the component work order which is “Completed” .

User Status

The user-defined status assigned to the component work order.

Work Center #

The work center to which the selected task or component work order is assigned.

Work Center Description

The textual description of the work center.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Component Details” group box:

Part #

The part number of the component on which the component work order has been generated.

Serial #

The serial number of the component on which the component work order has been generated.

Component #

The number that identifies the component on which the component work order has been generated.

Part Description

The textual description of the component.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “CoM Details” group box:

CoM Required

Indicates whether CoM is required for the release of the component after completion of the component work order. The system displays “Yes” or “No”.

Certification By

The name of the employee who certified the CoM.

CoM #

The number that identifies the CoM document.

CoM Status

The status of the CoM, which could be “Fresh”,  “Authorized” or “Cancelled”.

Employee #

The number of the employee who signed-off for the selected component work order.

Name

The name of the corresponding employee.

Zoom facility available.

License #

The license number of the employee.

Approval #

The number identifying the approver of the CoM.

Remarks

Additional remarks pertaining to the issue of CoM.

Zoom facility available.

Skill Code

The number that identifies the primary skill of the corresponding employee.

Date & Time

The date and time, in the specified format, on which the CoM is created or authorized.

The system displays the following fields in the “Certificate Details” group box:

Certificate ref #

The certificate reference document number.

Certificate Type

The type of the certificate of maintenance issued.

Certified Under

The regulatory authority under which the certificate is issued.

Certifying Remarks

Any additional remarks pertaining to the issue of certificate of maintenance

Sign-off Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the sign-off status, for which the details must be retrieved. The system lists the following options:

  • Yes - Select this option to retrieve all the tasks that are signed off for the component work order.

  • No – Select this option to retrieve all the tasks that are not signed off for the component work order.

  • Void – Select this option to retrieve all the tasks having “Void” status.

  • Not Required – Select this option to retrieve all the tasks for which sign-off is not required.

  • Leave the field blank to retrieve all the tasks irrespective of their sign-off status. The system leaves this field blank by default.

Note: If the sign off status is "Yes", the system displays all the tasks that are signed off for the CWO. If the sign-off status is "No”, the system displays all the tasks that are not signed off for the CWO.

The system displays the following in the “Work Unit Details” multiline:

Task Seq #

 

The sequence in which the tasks are to be performed while executing the component work order.

Task #

The number that identifies the task.

ST Seq #

The sequence in which the sub tasks are to be performed while executing the component work order.

Sub Tasks

The sub-tasks that are identified in the task master, requiring sign-off for skill and resource group of the employee.

Skill Code

The code that identifies the skill required to execute the task.

Resource Group

The sub-tasks that are identified in the task master requiring sign-off for skill and resource group of the employee.

Sign-off Status

The sign-off status, which could be “Yes” or “No”. This indicates the completion status of the task.

Sign-off Comments

Additional remarks pertaining to the sign-off of the task or component work order.

Sign-off Date & Time

The date and time , in the specified date format, on which the sign-off is done.

Task Completed Date

The date, in the specified date format, on which the task is completed.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Work Center #

The work center where the task or the component work order is executed.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the work unit details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the user has last modified the work unit details.
