Reporting resource actuals information for CWO or task
In this page, you can update the resource actuals for a component work order or a task. Tell me more.
Select the "Report Resource Actuals" link from the “Report Component Work Order Actuals” page.
The “Report Resource Actuals Information” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “CWO Details” group box:
Comp. Work Order # |
The component work order selected in the previous page. |
Note: The component work order should be in the “Scheduled”, “In-progress” or “Completed” status.
Component # |
The number that identifies the component on which the CWO is generated. |
Part # |
The part number of the component on which the CWO is generated. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the component on which the CWO is generated. |
CWO Description |
The textual description of the component work order. |
Enter the following:
Task # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which you need to update the resource actuals information. The system lists all the task numbers (along with the sequence number) that are associated with the corresponding component work order. The system leaves the field blank by default. Leave this field blank to update for the CWO. |
The system displays the following:
Task Description |
The textual description of the selected task.

Work Center # |
The work center associated with the task or the component work order. |
Total Duration |
The total number of hours so far reported against resources, for the selected task or component work order. |
Enter the following in the “Update Details” group box:
Default From Date |
Enter the default start date of the task (Date Format). Ensure this date is not later than the current system date or earlier than the back dated reporting time limit specified in the "Set Options" activity. |
Default From Time |
Enter the default start time of the task in the specified time format (Time Format). |
Default To Date |
Enter the default end date of the task (Date Format). Ensure this date is not later than the current system date or earlier than the back dated reporting time limit specified in the "Set Options" activity. The system displays the current server date by default. |
Default To Time |
Enter the default end time of the task in the specified time format (Time Format). The system displays the current server time by default. |
Note: If the date and time fields for the resources are left blank in the multiline, the system sets the “Default from Date”, “Default from Time”, “Default To Date”, “Default To Time” in the respective multiline columns. This type of updation is done, when several resources in the multiline have the same start and end date and time.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the resource actuals that are already reported for the CWO task.
Note: The system lists all the resources (specified and reported) that are associated with the specified component work order and task.

Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the resource type, which could be “Others”, “Tools”, “Skill” or “Equipment”. The system displays “Tools” by default. |
Note: Ensure that the resource is valid for the work center specified in the component work order and is in “Active” status.
Enter the following:
Facility Object # |
The number identifying the facility object (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the number entered here is a valid facility object number as defined in the “Facility Management” business component or “Work Center” business component. This field must be left blank, if the “Resource Type” drop-down list box is set to “Skill”. Help facility available. |
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the resource type for which you wish to update the actuals for the CWO. The resource could be of type “Skill”, “Tools”, “Equipment”, and “Others”.The system displays the value “Tools” by default. |
Note: The facility object number entered in the above field must have a facility number that is same as the resource number.

Enter the following:
Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement, which could be “Hours”, “Days” or “Minutes”, for the actual duration. The system displays “Hours” by default. |
Used Duration |
The time spent, in hours, days, or minutes, on the task or the component work order (Decimal). |
From Date |
The date starting from which the resource is utilized for the task (Date Format). Ensure this date is not later than the current server date, or earlier than the value entered in the “Back Dated Reporting Time Limit” field in “Set Options” activity. |
From Time |
The time from which the resource is utilized for the task (Time Format). |
To Date |
The date until which the resource is utilized for the task (Date Format). Ensure this date is not later than the current server date or earlier than the “From Date”. |
To Time |
The time until which the resource is utilized for the task (Time Format). |
Comments |
Any additional comments pertaining to the resource actuals (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Note: If the "From Date", "From Time" and "Used Duration" are already specified for a CWO or task, then the system automatically calculates the "To Date" and "To Time".
If the date on which actual details are being reported is a holiday, as defined in the "Holiday Master" in the "Time Management" business component or in “Common Master” business component, then you are required to enter the “From Time” and “To Time” for that day. In case you are reporting for a date range and this range includes a holiday, then you have to specify the actual details for the holiday as a separate line in the “Resource Details” multiline.
The system displays the following:
Last Updated Date |
The date on which the resource actuals were last updated. |
Click the “Report Resource Actuals” pushbutton at the bottom of the page, to update the resource actuals for the component work order or task.
Note: The system updates the resource details with the current server date as the last updated date. If the status of the task or component work order is “Scheduled”, the system changes the status to “In-progress”.
If the “Job Type” of the component work order is selected as “Component”, then the system ensures that the component for which the component work order is generated, is not attached to Aircraft.
Note: If any ‘Resource #’ is newly reported in the multiline, the system performs the following:
a. ensures that the facility object for which the CWO was created is in “Active” status and in “Serviceable” condition as on the current system date and time, as defined in the “Facility Management” business component.
b. ensures that the due date for maintenance is later than the To Date and Time, if the maintenance of the facility object is set to mandatory in the “Facility Management” business component.
Note: On refresh, the system updates the facility object description as the resource description in the multiline.
Reporting resource actuals information for CWO or task - An overview
In this page, you can update the resource actuals for a component work order or a task. You can select the task for which you need to update the resource actuals. The system displays the resource actuals that are already reported for the selected task. You can update the resource information, such as the resource number, number of hours the resource is utilized, the start and end date and time, attendance type of the employee while utilizing the resource and any other additional comments.

Specify default date and time for the resources listed in the multiline
Specify default date and time for the resources listed in the multiline
If a large number of resources have the same start or end date and time, you can enter the default date and time values. The system updates the date and time fields in the multiline (if they are left blank) with the default values.
Enter the ”from” date and time for the resources, in the “Default From Date” and “Default From Time” fields, in the “CWO Details” group box.
Enter the “to” date and time for the resources, in the “Default To Date” and “Default To Time” fields, in the “CWO Details” group box.
Enter the resource details in the multiline. You can leave the date and time fields blank.
On clicking the “Report Resource Actuals” pushbutton, the system updates the date and time fields for the resources, which are left blank in the multiline, with the default values.
