Setting rogue options for component reliability
In this page, you can specify the number of times the component has been failed for the flying hours. Tell me more.
Select the “Set Rogue Unit Definition” link under the “Component Reliability” business component.
The “Rogue Units Definition” page appears.
The system, displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Fleet Selection” group box:

Use the drop-down list box to select the fleet number. The system lists all the active fleet numbers created in the “Create Fleet” activity of the “Reliability Setup” business component. |
Click the “Get Details” to retrieve the details.
Enter the following fields in the “Definition Parameters” group box:
Check the box to specify the “Number of Confirmed Failures exceeds within Flying Hours” option.
Number of “Confirmed Failures”Exceeds |
The total number of confirmed failures. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |
Flying Hours |
Enter the time for which the aircraft was in the air, in the edit box alongside. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |

Flying Cycles |
Enter the flying cycle in the edit box alongside. Each take-off and landing combination of the aircraft constitutes a cycle. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |

The total number of times the component was removed but fault not found. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |
Flying Hours |
Enter the time for which the aircraft was in the air, in the edit box alongside. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |

The optimal value for MTBF. If the calculated value is less than this value, the system assumes the component ID as the rogue unit. Mandatory. The value should be a positive integer. |

The system displays the following field in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The name of the user who last modified the definitions. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the definitions were last modified. |
