Monthly Alert Value Defect Rate is calculated as,
Number of discrepancy reported for the respective period * 100 / Period Flying Hours
If the selected period is the last period defined for the calendar fleet:
Reliability Alert is calculated as,
D + Multiple for service level as selected in set options * B
Where, D is them mean defect rate for the calendar.
D = R / number of periods
Where, R is the sum of defect rate of all the periods existing in the calendar.
B = Square root of A
Where, B is the standard deviation.
A = J / M
M = Number of Periods - 1
J = H - K
Where, H is the sum of the square of defect rate for all respective periods.
