In this page, you can select the part number for monitoring MTBUR, MTBF. Tell me more.

The “Select Part #” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the warranty agreement terms must be defined (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The following points must be ensured while entering this field:

 
  • The part is already created in the "Create Parts Main Information" activity of the "Part Administration" business component.

 
  • The part is of type "Component".

 
  • The reference status of the part is "Active".

 
  •  The part is mapped to the supplier if the "Part Warranty Agg. Without Supplier – Part Mapping" option is set as "Not Allowed" in the "Set Options" activity.

Serial #

The number identifying the serial number of the part, (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Component #

The number identifying the component for which the details are to be monitored. (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the component numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Component Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the component, which could be “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”. The system retrieves the components that are of the type specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the details of the component irrespective of the type.

Part Description

The textual description of the part. (Alphanumeric, 150).

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter to which the component belongs. (Alphanumeric, 16). . You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components belonging to the ATA number entered here.

Supplier Part #

The code identifying the supplier part number (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the parts that have supplier part numbers similar to the value entered here.

Supplier #

The number that identifies the supplier whose details you need to monitor (Alphanumeric, 45).

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Component #

The number identifying the component.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs.

Component Type

The type to which the component belongs, which could be “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Supplier Part #

The code identifying the supplier part number.

Supplier #

The number that identifies the supplier whose details you need to monitor.

Supplier Name

Selecting the Part # – An overview

Monitor MTBF, MTBUR and MTBR - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can select the part number for monitoring MTBUR and MTBF. You can carry out a search based on the part number, ATA number, serial number and the component details like the type and ID of the component. You can select the part to be monitored by entering the part number, serial number and component ID. You can also enter the supplier details such as the supplier code and the name to select the part.
