Viewing the MEL compliance report

In this page, you can view the details of the MEL compliance report for the selected fleet. Tell me more.

Select the “View MEL Compliance Report” link in the “Select Reliability Fleet” page . Alternatively, click the hyperlinked reliability fleet number in the multiline of the same page.

The “View MEL Compliance Report” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Reliability Fleet Details” group box:

Reliability Fleet #

The number identifying the reliability fleet for which the MEL compliance report details are displayed.

Fleet Description

The textual description of the fleet.

Zoom facility available

Data Available Upto

The last date until which the MEL compliance details are transferred from “Aircraft History” business component to “Aircraft Reliability” business component.

Enter the following fields in the “Reliability Calendar Details” group box:

Reliability Calendar #

Use the drop-down list box to select the reliability calendar which is mapped to the reliability fleet number in the “Reliability Setup” business component. The reliability calendar should be either in the “Confirmed” or “Closed” status.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to get the details of the reliability calendar.

The system displays the following details in the “Reliability Calendar Details” group box:

Calendar Description

The textual description of the reliability calendar.

Zoom facility available

Start Date

The start date of the reliability calendar.

End Date

The end date of the reliability calendar.

Enter the following fields in the “Period Details” group box:

Period #

Use the drop-down list box to select the period that is mapped to reliability fleet number of the “Reliability Setup” business component. The period should be either in the “Confirmed” or “Closed” status.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to get the details of the period.

The system displays the following details in the “Period Details” group box:

Period - From	The start date of the reliability period.
Period - To	The end date of the reliability period.

Enter the following fields in the “User Defined Period Details” group box:

From Year	The year from which you wish to view the MEL compliance report.
Month From	Use the drop-down list box to select the month from which you wish to view the MEL compliance report.
To Year	The year unto which you wish to view the MEL compliance report.
Month To	Use the drop-down list box to select the month unto which you wish to view the MEL compliance report.

Enter the following fields in the “View Filter Options” group box:

View By

Use the drop-down list box to select the view option. The report can be based on either “Reliability Period” or “User Defined Period”.

Note: If this field is set to ”User Defined Period”, then you need to enter From Year” and” To Year” in such a manner that “From Year” should not be greater than the ”To year”. If the ”From Year” and the ”To Year” are the same, ”From Month” should not be later than ”To Month”.

Aircraft Reg #

Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft registration number for which the MEL compliance details must be displayed. The system lists all aircraft registration numbers defined for the specified reliability fleet in the “Reliability Setup” business component.

Note: Leave this field blank to retrieve the MEL compliance details for all the aircraft.

ATA #

Use the drop-down list box to select the number identifying the ATA chapter on which the discrepancy is reported or identified as part of resolving or deferment action. The system lists all the ATA chapter numbers defined in the “Aircraft” business component.

Note: Leave this field blank to retrieve the MEL compliance details irrespective of the ATA chapter.

The system displays the following in the “View Filter Options” group box:

Chapter Description

The textual description of the ATA chapter.

Zoom facility available

Click the “View MEL Compliance Summary” pushbutton to view the MEL compliance summary.

The system displays the following in the “MEL Compliance Summary” multiline:

Aircraft Reg #	The number identifying the aircraft registration for which the MEL compliance details are displayed.
ATA #	The number identifying the ATA chapter.
Chapter Description	The textual description of the ATA chapter.
Maint Report #	The number that identifies the maintenance report.
Maint Report Description	The textual description of the maintenance report.
Reported Date	The date on which the MEL compliance was reported.
Reporting Time	The time at which the MEL compliance was reported.
Resolution Doc. type	The type of resolution document, which could be “Component Work Order”, “Hangar Work Order” or “Flight Log”.
Resolution#	The number identifying the resolution document.
Rectified Date	The date on which the MEL compliance was rectified.
Rectified Time	The time at which the MEL compliance was rectified.
Rectification Comments	Comments pertaining to the rectification.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the aircraft registration number for viewing the rectification action details.

To proceed carry out the following

Select the “View Maint. Report Resolution History” link at the bottom of the page to view the detailed rectification action taken for the MEL Compliance.
Select the “Generate MEL compliance Report” link at the bottom of the page to generate the MEL compliance report details.

Viewing the MEL compliance report – An overview

In this page, you can view the details of the MEL compliance report for the selected fleet. The system retrieves the details such as the reliability fleet number, fleet description and the MEL compliance details available for the selected reliability fleet. The MEL compliance details such as aircraft registration model, flight number, leg number ATA number, maintenance report number, reported date and time, rectified date and time of the selected fleet are displayed.
