Viewing component capability details

This page allows you to select a component for viewing the component capability details. Tell me more.

Select the “View Component Capability” link under the “Work Center” business component.

The “View Component Capability” page appears.

Search for a component

Enter the following fields to search for a part. Data entry in these fields is optional:

Part #/ Group	The number identifying the part or part group for which you wish to view the work center capability details (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose numbers are similar to the part number specified here. Use the drop-down list box provided alongside and set the field to “Part No”, if you wish to enter the part number. Set the field to “Part Group" if you wish to enter the part group.
Description	The textual description of the part number or part group (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component parts whose description is similar to the description specified here.
Certificate #	The number identifying the certificate issued to the work center (alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the certificate number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component parts associated to the certificate number specified here.
Certificate Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the certificate type. The system lists all certificate types defined in the “Create Certificate Type” activity of the “Logistics Common Masters” business component. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all the part number or part group irrespective of the certificate type. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Certifying Authority	Use the drop-down list box to select the authority that issues the certificate. The system lists all the certifying authorities defined in the “Maintain Certifying Authority” activity of the “Logistics Common Masters” business component. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all the part number or part group irrespective of the certifying authority. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Maintenance Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintenance type capability details that needs to be retrieved for the part number or part group. The system lists all the maintenance types defined in the "Common Master" business component along with the values “All”, "Engineering Order" and "Fleet Campaign Directive". Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all the part number or part group irrespective of the maintenance type. The system sets this field to “All” by default.
Work Unit #	The number identifying the work unit (alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work unit number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component parts on which the specified work unit can be executed. Help facility available.
Work Unit Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work unit, which can be “Task”, or “Standard Procedure”. The system sets this field to “Task” by default. The value selected in this field will be considered for search, only if a value is specified in the Work Unit # field.
As On Date	The date as on which the certificate associated to the work center is valid (Date Format). The system retrieves all the work centers having certificates that are valid as on the date entered here.
Org. Unit #	Use the drop-down list box to specify the organization unit whose work center capability details are to be retrieved. The system lists all the organization units defined in the system. By default, the system displays the organization unit of the login user.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Work Center #	The number identifying the work center whose component capability details are to be retrieved.
Part # / Group	The number identifying the part or part group for which the work center is applicable.
Maintenance Type	The maintenance type that can be performed on the part or part group at the work center.
Certificate #	The number identifying the certificate according to which the work center is capable of maintaining the part # / group.
Certificate Title	The title of the certificate.
Certificate Type	The type of the certificate.
Certifying Authority	The authority that has issued the certificate.
Description	The textual description of the part or part group.
Work Center Description	The textual description of the work center.
Work Center Category	The category to which the work center belongs.
Work Center Type	The type of the work center, which could be “Hangar”, “Bay”. Line”, “Shop” or “Others”.
Valid From	The date from which the certificate is valid.
Valid To	The date till which the certificate is valid.
Org Unit #	The number identifying the organizational unit of the work center.
Org Unit Name	The name of the organizational unit.
