This tab allows you to enter the additional Search Criteria for the work units.

Operations Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the operation type of the maintenance activity. The system lists the following options:

  • “Flight Ops” – Select this option if the maintenance activity is performed during flight operations.

  • “Repair Station” – Select this option if the maintenance activity is performed at repair station.

The system retrieves all the work units applicable for the operation type selected here.

By default, the system displays the following based on the value of the process parameter ‘Default Operations type’ defined for the Entity Type 'Task Numbering' in the “Set Process Parameters” page of the “Common Master” business component.

  • ‘Flight Ops’, if the process parameter is set as ‘0’.

  • ‘Repair Station’, if the process parameter is set as ‘1’.

Process parameter dependency

Exec. Phase

  Use the drop-down list box to select the execution phase of the task. The system lists the following options:

  • "Preparatory" - Select this option, if the task must be performed as a part of preliminary activities before aircraft is grounded for maintenance.

  • "Regular" - Select this option, if the task must be performed as a part of normal maintenance activities carried out in hangar.

  • "Post Flight" - Select this option, if the task must be performed as a part of post test flight activities.

  • In addition to the above, the drop-own list box displays all quick codes defined under the quick code type “Exe. Phase”, which are in Active status.

The system sets this field to “Regular” by default.

The system retrieves all the work units applicable for the execution phase selected here.

Part #

The part number of the component on which the work unit must be executed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units for the part number specified here.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the task belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units associated with the ATA chapter number entered here.

MPD Item #

The Maintenance Planning Document item number of the work unit (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units associated to the MPD item number entered here.

Customer Task Card #

The number identifying the customer task card that represents the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the customer task card number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units associated to the customer task card number specified here.

Customer Name

The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units associated to the customer name specified here.
