Entering periodicity information for FCD

Unified Glossary

Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page enables you to enter the periodicity information for the selected FCD. Tell me more.

The “Edit Schedules Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the "FCD Details" group box:

FCD #

The FCD for which the schedule details must be entered.

Subject

The textual description of the FCD.

Zoom facility available.

Note: The system displays the periodicity details that are already defined for the FCD.

Threshold (Days)

The maximum number of days or hours within which the selected task must be performed (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Threshold Date” is not specified. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive.

Threshold Date

The date on which the FCD must be performed, in the case of one-time FCD (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be in the format specified in the “Date Format” field, and should not be earlier than the current server date.

If this field is left blank, the threshold date is calculated as the sum of the date entered in the “Threshold (Days)” field and the issue date of the MCR (If available); else, sum of the date entered in the “Threshold (Days)” and the FCD created date. Month wise and leap year wise disparities in the dates are also considered while calculating this date. The system verifies that the threshold date is not earlier than the current server date

Special Frequency Note

Any additional remarks or notes pertaining to the frequency of the task (Alphanumeric, 2000). This field can contain the following information:

  • Additional information to clarify frequency requirements other than a simple parametric or letter check limit.

  • Additional "off-wing" requirement information for tasks that are applicable for engines.

  • Method of compliance for conditional tasks, shop-accomplished tasks and crew accomplished tasks.

Zoom facility available.

Parameter

A number that identifies the consumption parameter in the aircraft or its component (Alphanumeric, 40). This parameter must be of type “Consumption” defined in the “Create Parameters’ activity of the “Aircraft” business component. The periodicity of the FCD will be decided based on the values of the consumption parameters. The parameter number should be unique in the multiline. Once associated to the FCD, this parameter code cannot be modified.

Help facility available.

The system fills in the following fields:

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Threshold Interval

The interval at which the engineering document must be executed for the consumption parameter (Alphanumeric, 28). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive.

Note: The system calculates the parameter value at which the engineering document must be executed, by adding the specified Threshold Interval with the parameter value as on the "Effective From Date", "MCR Issue Date" or "Engineering Document Created Date".

Threshold Value

The maximum number of days or hours within which, the task for the consumption parameter, is to be carried out (Decimal). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive.

Note: Ensure that either “Threshold Interval” or “Threshold Value” is entered, for the parameter.

Entering periodicity information for FCD – An overview

This page enables you to enter the periodicity information for the selected FCD. You can specify the maximum number of days or hours within which the FCD has to be executed. You can also define the schedule for the task to be performed at the consumption parameter level.

The system updates the periodicity details and sets the last modified date to the server date.

Enter periodicity information

You can enter the schedule details for the FCD. The schedule of FCD can be either “Date Based” or “Parameter Based”. If the schedule is date based, you can enter the threshold days and the repeat interval (days). If the schedule is parameter based, you can enter the parameter number and the threshold value of the parameter.
