Entering part requirements for FCD

This page allow you can add or modify the details of parts required for executing the FCD. Tell me more.

Select the “Edit Parts Requirements” link at the bottom of the “Create Fleet Campaign Directive” or “Edit Fleet Campaign Directive” page.

The “Edit Parts Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the "FCD Details" group box:

FCD #	The FCD for which the part details must be entered.
Subject	The textual description of the FCD.

Note: The system displays the parts that are already associated to the FCD in the multiline.

Enter the following field in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part #	The part required for executing the FCD (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The spare part should have already been defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The part number should be unique within the multiline.
	Help facility available.

Note: In the event of modifying the already associated part number, the system displays an error message. To delete associated parts, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" button.

The system displays the following field:

Part Type

The type of the part, as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Enter the following fields:

UOM	The unit of measurement for the part (Alphanumeric, 10). Mandatory. The unit of measurement must be a valid UOM defined for the spare part in the “Create UOM” activity of the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component. if the spare part number is specified, data entry in this field is mandatory.
	Help facility available.
Est. Quantity	The quantity of part required to execute the FCD (Decimal). Mandatory. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive.

Note: If the “Fractions Allowed” field is set as “No” in the “Create UOM” activity of the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component, the system ensures that the value entered in the “Est.Qty” field is not a decimal value.

If the “Fractions Allowed” field is set as “Yes” in the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component, the system allows both decimal and non-decimal values to be entered in the “Est.Qty” field.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Edit Part Requirements” pushbutton:

Part Description

The textual description of the spare part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Note: Ensure that atleast one part is entered in the multiline.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the spare part for deletion.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton, to delete the spare parts selected in the multiline.
Click the "Edit Part Requirements" pushbutton, to add or modify the details of the spare part.

Entering part requirements for FCD– An overview

You can add or modify the details of parts required for executing the FCD, in this page. On specifying the part number, the system displays the part type and description and allows you to modify the unit of measurement and the estimated quantity.

The spare part details are updated and the system sets the last modified date to the current server date.
