Entering part effectivity details for FCD
In this page, you can specify the parts for which the FCD is applicable. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Part Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Create Fleet Campaign Directive” or “Edit Fleet Campaign Directive” page.
The “Edit Part Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the "FCD Details" group box:

The FCD for which the part effectivity details must be edited. |
Subject |
The textual description of the FCD. Zoom facility available. |
Applicability |
Indicates whether the FCD is applicable for “Component” or “Engine”. |
Note: On launching the page, the system displays all the part numbers that are already associated to the FCD.
Enter the following field in the “Component Effectivity” multiline:
Part # |
The part number for which the FCD is applicable (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The part number should have already been identified in the “Maintain Maintenance Info. For Part” of the “Aircraft” business component and the status of the part number must be “Active”. Ensure that the part number is unique in the multiline. Once associated to the FCD, the part number cannot be modified. |

Note: In the event of modifying the already associated part number, the system displays an error message. To delete an associated part, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" button.
If more than one FCD is created from the same MCR, and the FCDs are not in “Cancelled” status, and the “Allow Duplicate FCD on the same effectivity” field is set to “No” in the "Edit Option Settings" activity, the part number cannot be referred in more than one FCD.
The system displays the following field on clicking the “Edit Efffectivity” pushbutton:

Note: Ensure that atleast one part number is entered in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the part for deletion.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton, to delete the parts selected in the multiline.
Note: The system deletes the part and the associated serial number effectivity information.
Click the “Edit Effectivity” pushbutton, to update the part effectivity details.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Edit Serial No Effectivity” link at the bottom of the page, to edit the serial effectivity details.
Select the “View Part Details” link at the bottom of the page, to view the part details.
Entering part effectivity details for FCD – An overview
In this page, you can specify the parts for which the FCD is applicable. The system displays the details of parts that are already associated to the FCD. You can add parts or delete the existing parts in this page. The serial numbers of the part, for which the FCD is applicable, can be specified in the “Edit Serial No Effectivity” page.
If an existing part is deleted, the corresponding serial effectivity information is also deleted.
The system updates the part effectivity details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the server date.

You can specify the part numbers for which the FCD is applicable, if you have identified the FCD applicability as “Component” or Engine”, in the “Create FCD” activity.
Enter the part numbers in the “Component Effectivity” multiline, to specify the parts on which the FCD is applicable.
