Help on Impacted Contracts
The system essentially retrieves customer contracts associated with parts for which Recommended / Advanced Part Effectivity has been defined against the MCR.
Click the icon.
The “Help on Impacted Contracts” page appears.
The page displays the following details from the previous page.
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the reference document for the impact assessment. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The unique identifier for the reference document for the impact assessment. |
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for engineering change-impacted customer contracts. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Customer # |
To retrieve the contracts associated with specific customer, enter the customer #. You can enter the customer # in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the contracts with customers with # similar to the value entered here. |
Part # |
To retrieve the contracts covering specific part, enter part #. You can enter the part # in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the contracts rcovering parts with # similar to the value entered here. |
Contract # |
To retrieve specifc contract, enter contract #. You can enter the contract # in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the contracts related to # similar to the value entered here. |
Sale Type |
To retrieve parts covered by contracts against specific sale type, select the sale type from the drop-down list box. The drop-down list box displays the Active entities defined under the entity “Sale Type” in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master. |
Rem. from A/C Model # |
To retrieve contracts covering parts removed from specific aircaft model , enter aircraft #. You can enter the part # in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the contracts rcovering parts with # similar to the value entered here. |
Rem. from A/C Group |
To retrieve contracts covering parts removed from specific aircaft model , enter aircraft #. You can enter the part # in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the contracts rcovering parts with # similar to the value entered here. |
Select one of the radio buttons to set the preference for the display of search results.
Aircraft Reg. Level |
Select the radio button to display retrieved contracts with information at the aircraft level. |
Aircraft Model Level |
Select the radio button to display retrieved contracts with information at the aircraft model level. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Part # |
The part covered by the impacted customer contract. |
Part Description |
The description of the part covered by the impacted customer contract.. |
Customer # |
The owner of the part covered by the impacted customer contract. |
Contract # |
The contract covering the part agisnt which part effectivity has been defined against the reference document/ MCR.. |
Sale Type |
The sale type specified for the part in the contract. |
Rem. from A/C Reg. |
The aircraft from which the component covered by the contract must be removed. |
Rem. from A/C Model |
The model of the aircraft from which t the component covered by the contract must be removed. |
Contracted No. of A/C |
The number of aircraft contracted by the customer as per the contract. |
Sys. QPA |
The contracted quantity of the part per aircraft. |
Sys. Imp. Qty. |
The total impacted quantity of the contracted part. For example, if Sys. QPA is 2 per aircraft and the contracted number of aircraft is 10, Sys.Imp.Qty would be 20. |
Check the box in the multiline to select the contract.
Click the “OK” button to copy the contract details to the previous page.
