This page allows you to assign the employees responsible for evaluating the change request and authoring the engineering document. Tell me more

The “Assign Employees” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date must be entered in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Change Request Details” group box:

Change Request #

The change request for which you wish to assign employees.

Revision #

The revision number of the change request. This field is displayed only when the change request is an MCR.

Subject

The textual description of the change request.

Change Doc Type

The document type of the change request, which could be “MCR”.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the change request document, for which you wish to assign employees.

 

Based on the type of the change document, namely “MCR”, the system lists the user statuses that are defined as quick codes in the “Maintenance Change Request” or “Engineering Document” business component.

Start Date

The date on which the employees entered in the multiline will start the evaluation or authoring (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered here is in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

End Date

The date on which the employees entered in the multiline will end the evaluation or authoring (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered here is in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

Note: The system retrieves the employee assignment details that are already entered for the change request, in the multiline.

Employee #

The number identifying the employee who is responsible for evaluating or authoring the engineering document (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. Ensure that the employee code is already defined in the ”Create Employee File” activity of the “Employee Information” business component and is in “Current” status. The employee number should be unique within the multiline.

The system displays the following field:

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Start Date

The date on which the employee will start the evaluation or authoring of the engineering document (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered here is in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

End Date

The date on which the employee will end the evaluation or authoring of the engineering document (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered here is in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

Remarks

Any additional remarks pertaining to the assignment of the employee to the change request (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: If “Employee Assignment” is set as mandatory in the “Set Options” activity, the system ensures that atleast one employee is entered in the multiline.

Comments

Any additional remarks or comments pertaining to the employee assignment to the change request (Alphanumeric, 255).

 Assigning employees – An overview

Assign Employees - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can assign the employees responsible for evaluating the change request and authoring the engineering document.

You can enter the employees that need to be assigned to the change request, the start date and the end date of the evaluation or authoring the engineering document and the remarks regarding the employee assignment. While associating multiple employees to the change request, you are also provided with the option of specifying the default start date and the default end date for evaluation.

The system updates the details and sets the “Assigned Date” to the current server date.
