This page allows you to enter the serial number effectivity details for the FCD. Tell me more.HJ78*A `````

The “Edit Serial No Effectivity” page appears.

Note: Ensure that the part effectivity details are already defined for the fleet campaign directive, in the “Edit Part Effectivity” page.

The system displays the following fields in the "FCD Details" group box:

FCD #

The FCD for which the serial effectivity details must be edited.

Subject

The textual description of the FCD.

Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the part number for which the serial number effectivity details must be defined. The system lists all the part numbers for which the FCD is applicable.

The system displays the following field on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Serial #

The serial number of the part for which the FCD is applicable (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The serial number should have already been identified in the “Maintain Part # Information” of the “Aircraft” business component and the serial number should be in “Active” status. Ensure that the serial number is unique in the multiline.

Help facility available.

Note: In the event of modifying the already associated part serial number, the system displays an error message. To delete an associated serial number, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" button.

If more than one FCD is created from the same MCR, and the FCDs are not in “Cancelled” status, and the “Allow Duplicate FCD on the same effectivity” field is set to “No” in the "Edit Option Settings" activity, the part serial number cannot be referred in more than one FCD.

Manufacturer Serial #

The serial number of the part manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 40). The manufacturer serial number must have already been defined in the “Maintain Part # Information” activity of the “Aircraft” business component.

Component #

The component ID of the part (Alphanumeric, 90). The component ID must have already been defined in the “Maintain Part # Information” activity of the “Aircraft” business component.

Note: Ensure that atleast one serial number is entered in the multiline.

Entering serial number effectivity details for FCD – An overview

Edit FCD - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to enter the serial number effectivity details for the FCD. You can specify the serial numbers of the parts for which the FCD is applicable. You can select a part and add or edit the serial number details.

Specify the components for which the FCD is applicable

You can specify the components, for which the FCD is applicable, if you have identified the FCD applicability as “Component” or “Engine”, in the “Create MCR” activity. You can select a part number and enter the component details.
