This page allow you to displays the engineering orders that are already created for the change request selected in the “Select Change Request”. Tell me more.

The “Select Engineering Order” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Change Request

The change request number for which the existing EO has to be revised.

Revision

The revision number of the change request.

Change Doc Type

The type of the change document, which could be “MCR” or “FCD”.

Note: The system displays all the “Released” and the “Closed” engineering orders that are already created for the change request.

The system displays the following in the “EO Details” multiline:

EO #

The engineering order number created for the change request.

Revision No

The engineering order revision number that helps in tracing the changes made to the engineering order.

Applicability

The engineering order applicability, whether the EO is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.

Status

The status of the engineering order, which could be “Released” or “Closed”.

User Status

The user defined status of the engineering order.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which the EO must be executed.

EO Category

The category of the engineering order.

Subject

The description of the engineering order.

Selecting EO for revising its details – An overview

Each revision of the change request need not result in an engineering order. Depending on the nature of the revision, the MCM decides whether a new revision number needs to be generated. The decision by the MCM on these revisions will result in the creation of a new EO or the revision of an exisitng EO. If the MCR revision leads to a revision in the work scope, then the existing EO(s) can be revised. In this page, you can select the engineering order to be revised.

The system displays the engineering orders that are already created for the change request selected in the “Select Change Request” page. The details such as engineering order number, revision number, applicability, status, user status, ATA chapter on which the engineering change has to be performed, category to which the EO belongs, and description are displayed. The system retrieves engineering orders that are in the following status:
