Help on Stations
This page allows you to search and select the station. You can carry out the search using the station code type, station name, IATA number, ICAO number, organization unit number, name of the city and the name of the country. The search results are retrieved and displayed in the multiline.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Starting Station”, “To Station” or “Reporting Station” field in the main page.
The “Help On Stations” page appears.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the station:
Station Code Type |
The type of the station code, which could be “IATA”, “ICAO” or “Others”. The system displays station code type that is set as default in the “Option Settings” activity. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the station:
Station Name |
The name of the station (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the station name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations with the name similar to the name entered here. |
IATA # |
The reference code identifying the station of type ‘International Air Transport Association’ (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the IATA number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations associated with the IATA number specified here. |
ICAO # |
The reference code identifying the station of type “International Civil Aviation Organization” (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the ICAO number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations associated with the ICAO number specified here. |
Other# |
The reference code identifying the station other than “IATA” or “ICAO” (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations associated with the reference code specified here. |
Org. Unit # |
The number identifying the organization unit to which the station is associated (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the organization unit number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations applicable to the organization unit specified here. |
City |
The name of the city in which the station is situated (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the city in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations belonging to the city specified here. |
Country |
The name of the country in which the station is situated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the country in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the stations belonging to the country specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the stations.
The system retrieves all the stations that are in “Active” status.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

The number identifying the station. |
Station Code Type |
The type of the station code, which could be “IATA”, “ICAO” or “Others”. |
Station Name |
The name of the station. |
IATA # |
The reference code identifying the station of type ”International Air Transport Association”. |
ICAO # |
The reference code identifying the station of type ”International Civil Aviation Organization”. |
Other # |
The reference code identifying the station other than “IATA” or “ICAO”. |
Org. Unit # |
The number identifying the organization unit to which the station is associated. |
Org. Unit Name |
The name of the organization unit to which the station is associated. |
Time Zone |
The time zone to which the station belongs. |
Zone Description |
The textual description of the time zone. |
City |
The name of the city in which the station is situated. |
Country |
The name of the country in which the station is situated. |
Latitude |
The latitude at which the station is geographically located. |
Longitude |
The longitude at which the station is geographically located. |
Longest Runway |
The length of the longest runway in the station. |
Overload Capability |
Indicates the overload capability in the station. |
Terminal # |
The number identifying the terminal in the station. |
Gate Count |
The number of gates that exist for the terminal. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the station.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
