This  page allow you to enter the daylight saving time details for different time zones. Tell me more

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Time Zone” Details:

Time Zone

The code identifying the time zone for which you need to create or modify the daylight saving time details.

Zone Description

The textual description of the zone.

Year #

The calendar year for which the daylight saving time details are entered, for the specified time zone (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure this is unique in the multiline.

Note: You cannot modify an already existing year number.

Start Month

Use the drop-down list box to specify the starting month of the specified year for which the daylight saving time details are entered. The system lists all the months in a year and sets the field to “April” by default.

Start Date

The start date on which the daylight changes for the specified time zone (Date Format). Mandatory, if “Year #” field is entered.

Start Time

The starting time at which the daylight changes for the specified time zone (Time Format). Mandatory, if “Year #” field is entered.

End Month

Use the drop-down list box to specify the ending month on which the standard time is reverted, for the specified time zone. The system lists all the months in a year and sets the field to “October” by default.

End Date

The end date on which the standard time is reverted for the specified time zone (Date Format). Mandatory, if “Year #” field is entered.

End Time

The ending time on which the standard time is reverted for the specified time zone (Time Format). Mandatory, if “Year #” field is entered.

Time Difference

The time difference, in hours, minutes or seconds, between the day light saving time and the standard time for the time zone (Decimal). Mandatory, if “Year #” field is entered.

Time Unit

Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement for the difference in time. The system lists the options, “Hours” and “Minutes”  and sets the field to “Hours” by default.

The system updates the daylight saving details and stores the login user name and the current server date as the created date. Edit Time Zone - A summary of the activity

Daylight saving of time is a change in the standard time of each time zone. Daylight saving of time might vary for each time zone. For example, daylight saving time begins for most of the United States at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of April and time reverts to standard time at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October.

You can enter the daylight saving time details for different time zones.
