Modifying model effectivity details for station
This page allow you to handle the maintenance and operational activities for a certain aircraft model. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Model Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Edit Station” or “Create Station” page.
The “Edit Model Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Station Details” group box:
Station # |
The station selected in the previous page. |
Station Name |
The name of the corresponding station. |
Enter the following fields in the “Model Effectivity Details” multiline:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model, to be associated to the station (Alphanumeric, 20). Ensure that the aircraft model is already defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in “Active” status. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following
Manufacturer # |
The code identifying the manufacturer. |
Model Type |
The type of the aircraft model. |
Model Description |
The textual description of the aircraft model. |
Click the “Edit Effectivity” pushbutton at the bottom of the page to save the modifications.
Modifying model effectivity details for station – An overview
Each station can handle the maintenance and operational activities for a certain aircraft model. The station attributes, such as the runway dimensions, determine the aircraft models for which the station can handle maintenance and operational activities. For example, a station with a runway of smaller dimension cannot handle the landing and take-off, of a bigger aircraft model such as Boeing 747. In this page, you can enter or modify the aircraft model for which the station, selected in the previous page, can provide the maintenance and operational facilities.
The system associates the aircraft model specified in this page to the selected station.
“Create Aircraft Model” under “Aircraft” business component.
