Select the “Maintain Gate” link under the “Common Master” business component.
The “Maintain Gate #” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Station Details” group box:

Station # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the station for which the gate details are modified. The system lists all the stations that are created for the “Station Type” set in the “Set Options” activity. |
The system displays the following field in the “Station Details” group box:

Station Name |
The name of the station. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the gate details for the selected station.
Note: The station number should not be changed after clicking the "Get Details" pushbutton.
The system retrieves all the terminal numbers and gate numbers defined for the selected station.
Note: You cannot modify the existing terminal numbers and gate numbers in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Station – Gate Details” multiline:

Terminal # |
The number identifying the terminal in the station (Alphanumeric, 12). |

Gate # |
The number identifying the gate in the terminal (Alphanumeric, 40). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Terminal #” field is entered. |
Note: The gate number cannot be duplicated for the same terminal number in the multiline.

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the gate. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system sets this field to “Active” by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Station – Gate Details multiline:

Created By |
The name of the login user who created the gate. |

Created Date |
The date on which the gate is created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The name of the login user who last modified the gate details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the gate details were last modified. |
To delete records in the multiline
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the record for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the records selected in the multiline.
To update gate details
Click the “Maintain Gate” pushbutton, to create gate and/or modify the existing records in the multiline.
Note: The system displays an error message, if any other concurrent user attempts to simultaneously modify the gate details.
