This page allow you to set system parameters  for station code type and airline operator code type. Tell me more

The “Set Options” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. 

Station Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of stations to be defined in the system. The system provides the options, “IATA”, “ICAO” and “Others”. By default, the system sets the station code type to “IATA”.

For example, when the Station Code Type is set to “IATA”, the system allows users to create stations of the type “IATA” only, in the “Create Station” activity. To create stations of any type other than “IATA” and “ICAO”, select “Others”

However, if the station code type is modified, this attribute must also be updated in the Station records using the Edit Station activity.

Note: If the station code type is modified, ensure that the corresponding reference code for the station is modified using the “Edit Station” activity.

Airline Operator Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to set the type of airline operators to be defined in the system. The system provides the options, “IATA”, “ICAO” and “Others”. The system sets the field to “IATA” by default.

For example, when the Airline Operator Type is set to “IATA”, the system allows users to create airline operators of the type “IATA” only, in the Create Airline Operator activity. To create stations of any type other than “IATA” and “ICAO”, select “Others”.

However, if the airline operator code type is modified, this attribute in the Airline Operator records must also be updated using the Edit Airline Operator activity.

Operator Code Reference for Aircraft

Use the drop-down list box to define whether operator code reference should be specified for the aircraft during Aircraft Record Creation. The combo is loaded with the values “Mandatory” and “Optional”. The system displays the value “Optional” by default.  If “Mandatory” is selected, then system will mandate specification of Operator Code during Aircraft Record creation.

Note: If the airline operator code type is modified, ensure that the corresponding reference code for the airline operator is modified using the “Edit Airline Operator” activity.

SOS Program Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to define the SOS (Ship or Shelf) applicability for the components under repair. The combo is loaded with options “Applicable” and “Not Applicable”. The system displays “Applicable” by default on launch of the page.

Restrictions for Suspected Removals

Use the drop-down list box to define the restrictions to be posed for the Suspected Component Removals based on SOS Program. This combo is loaded with values based on the value selected in the “SOS Program Applicability” combo.

If “Applicable” is selected in the “SOS Program Applicability” combo, then this combo is loaded with options “Prevent Routing” and “None”. If “Not Applicable’” is selected in the “SOS Program Applicability” combo, then this combo is loaded with value “None”. The system displays “None” by default on launch of the page.

Multilevel Work Breakdown Structure

Use the drop-down list box to define the multilevel work breakdown structure (. Task, Standard Procedure and Work Package) for the aircraft. The combo is loaded with options “Required” and “Not Required”. The system displays “Not Required” by default on launch of the page.

Note: The system stores the settings and the login user name and the current server date as the last modified date.

The system displays the following field in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the option settings. 

Last modified Date

The date, in the specified date format, on which the option settings was last modified.
