Maintaining maintenance events
This page can be used to record the details of maintenance events.
Select the “Maintain Maintenance Events” link under the “Common Master” business component.
The “Maintain Maintenance Events” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Event Details” multiline:
Event # |
The unique code identifying an event (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Event Description |
The textual description of the event (Alphanumeric, 80). |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the event you need to record. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system sets the field to “Active” by default. Set this field to “Inactive” if you wish to disable the event code from future reference in other activities. |
Note: Every event number should have an event description.
The system displays the following in the multiline:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the event code. |
Created Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the event code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the event code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the event code was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the event codes for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the event codes selected in the multiline.
Click the “Maintain Events” pushbutton at the bottom of the page to save the details.
Note: The system updates the details, stores the login user name and sets the current server date as the last modified date.

4 Use the “Status” field in the multiline to modify the event status to “Active” or “Inactive”.
