Maintaining discrepancy/CR attributes
This page can be used to maintain the common attributes of discrepancies and component replacements.
Select the “Maintain Discrepancy/CR Attributes” link under the “Common Master” business component.
The “Maintain Discrepancy/CR Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for discrepancy/CR attributes.
Attribute |
Use the drop down list box to specify the discrepancy/CR attribute that you need to modify. The system provides the options, “Disc. Category”, “Maint. Report Class”, "Reason Category", “Tracking Status”, “Source Type” and “Defect Type”. The system sets the field to “Disc. Category” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results in the multiline.
Modify the following fields in the “Attribute Details” multiline:
Attribute Code |
The unique code identifying an attribute (Alphanumeric, 25). Ensure that a valid attribute code is entered. |
Attribute Description |
The textual description of the attribute (Alphanumeric, 80). |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the event you need to specify. The system lists the options, “Active” or “Inactive”. Select “Active” if the event is in active status, else select “Inactive”. The system sets the value “Active” by default. |
Note: Every attribute code should have an attribute description.
The system displays the following in the multiline:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the attribute code. |
Created Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the attribute code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute code was last modified. |
Check the box in the multiline to mark the attribute codes for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the attribute codes selected in the multiline.
Click the “Maintain Attribute” pushbutton at the bottom of the page to save the details.
Note: The system updates the details, stores the login user name and sets the current server date as the last modified date.
What you can do in this activity
Modify status of the attribute
You can change the status of the attribute code to either “Active” or “Inactive”. An ‘inactive’ attribute code is disabled from future reference in other activities.
