This page can be used to maintain the common attributes of discrepancies and component replacements.

The “Maintain Discrepancy/CR Attributes” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Attribute

Use the drop down list box to specify the discrepancy/CR attribute that you need to modify. The system provides the options, “Disc. Category”, “Maint. Report Class”, "Reason Category", “Tracking Status”, “Source Type” and “Defect Type”. The system sets the field to “Disc. Category” by default.

Attribute Code

The unique code identifying an attribute (Alphanumeric, 25). Ensure that a valid attribute code is entered.

Attribute Description

The textual description of the attribute (Alphanumeric, 80).

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the event you need to specify. The system lists the options, “Active” or “Inactive”. Select “Active” if the event is in active status, else select “Inactive”. The system sets the value “Active” by default.

Note: Every attribute code should have an attribute description.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Created By

The name of the user who created the attribute code.

Created Date

The date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute code was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the attribute code.

Last Modified Date

The date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute code was last modified.

Note: The system updates the details, stores the login user name and sets the current server date as the last modified date.
