This activity enables you to define the priority number, which identifies the level of urgency with which an activity has to be executed. The execution of various maintenance activities depends on the different levels of urgency and importance. The priority number identifies the level of urgency or importance with which an activity has to be executed. For example in a set of priority numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, the priority number “1” will be treated as of highest priority. The execution documents can be prioritized using these numbers.

You can enter a unique number to identify a priority and provide a description for it.

The system assigns the “Active” status as soon as the priority number is created and sets the created date and time to the server date and time. You should ensure that the priority number is unique for the organizational unit.

Prioritize activities

The priority numbers identify the urgency with which you need to execute the activities. You can assign priority numbers to the execution documents, such as “Visit Package”, “Work Order”, “Maintenance Change Request” and “Engineering Order”, based on which the activities involved are prioritized.

The system creates the prioirty numbers in the “Active” status.
