Viewing technical and attribute parameter information for component

This page allows you to view the technical and attribute parameters that are defined for the component. Details such as the parameter description, unit of measurement, parameter type, source from which the parameter is updated, value of the parameter and the date and time at which the parameter value were recorded, are displayed.

Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameter” link at the bottom of the “View Component Record” page.

The “View Technical & Attribute Parameters” page appears.

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields appear in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #	The component selected in the main page, for which the technical and attribute parameters are listed.
Part #	The part to which the component belongs. Note
Mfr. Part #	The manufacturer part number of the component.
Mfr. #	The manufacturer number of the component.
Note
Serial #	The serial number of the component.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.

The system displays the following in the “Parameter Details” muliline:

Parameter	The parameter associated to the component.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the parameter. The system leaves the field blank for an attribute parameter.
Parameter Type	The type of the parameter which can be “Technical” or “Attribute”.
Parameter Source	The parameter source from which the value of the attribute parameter has to be updated.
	Flight Log - Indicates that the parameter value has to be updated from the flight log.
	Manual - Indicates that the parameter value has to be updated manually.
	Parent - Indicates that the parameter value has to be updated from the parameter source defined for the parent component.
	Calculated - indicates that the parameter value is updated based on the formula associated to the parameter. This formula depicts the mathematical relationship of the parameter with the participating parameters. When one or all the participating parameters are updated, the formula based parameter will be automatically updated.
Present Value	The value of the parameter.
As Of Date	The date on which the parameter value was recorded.
As Of Time	The time at which the parameter value was recorded.
Parameter Description	The textual description of the parameter.
