Analysis Code From

The starting code in the range of analysis codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the analysis codes that are similar to the value entered here. If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the analysis codes till the analysis code specified in the “To” field.

To

The ending code in the range of analysis codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the analysis codes that are similar to the value entered here. The code entered here must be after the code entered in the “Analysis Code From” field. If this field is left blank and the “Analysis Code From” field is entered, then the system retrieves the analysis codes starting from the code specified in the “Analysis Code From” field.

Description

The textual description of the analysis code (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using ‘*’ characters. The system retrieves all the “Active” analysis codes whose descriptions are similar to the value entered here.

Effective Date From

The starting date in the date range during which the analysis codes that you want to retrieve are valid (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be before the date entered in the “Effective Date To” field. If this field is left blank and the “Effective Date To” field is entered, then the system retrieves all the analysis codes till the analysis code specified in the “Effective Date To” field.

Effective Date To

The ending date in the date range till which the analysis codes that you want to retrieve are valid (Date Format). If this field is left blank and the “Effective Date From” field is entered, then the system retrieves all the analysis codes, which are effective from, the date entered in the “Effective Date From” field.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the analysis codes that you want to retrieve. You can select from “Active”, "All" or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page.

The system retrieves and displays the search results based on the search criteria entered.

Effective Date

The date from which the analysis code is active or inactive (Date Format).

The system displays the following in the “Analysis Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Analysis Code

The code identifying the analysis.

Description

The description of the analysis code.

Effective Date From

The date from which the analysis code is valid.

Effective Date To

The date till which the analysis code is valid.

Status

The status of the analysis code. It could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Note: You can activate an analysis code that is in the “Inactive” status.

The system updates the status of the analysis code as “Active”.

Note: You can inactivate an analysis code that is in the “Active” status. You can inactivate an analysis code if there are no sub-analysis codes defined for it and if it has not been assigned to an account code.

The system updates the status of the analysis codes as “Inactive”.

Activating / Inactivating analysis code – An overview

You can carry out a search to retrieve the analysis code that you want to retrieve. The system retrieves the analysis codes based on the search criteria entered. You can activate an analysis code that is in the “Inactive” status. The system updates the status of the analysis code as “Active”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the analysis code details.

This page also allows you to inactivate an analysis code. You can inactivate an analysis code that does not have any sub-analysis codes assigned to it. You can inactivate an analysis code if it has not been assigned to an account code. The system updates the status of the analysis code as “Inactive”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the analysis code details.
